A large set of spaces connected to each other by a network of tunnels dug in the sandstone, some with particularly refined decorations that leave some doubt about the real origins of this structure. A mystery that has helped create a magical self around this place by feeding numerous legends.
The historic center of Camerano, collected around the main square, preserves the original structure of an ancient hamlet and is here that some of the most important monuments of the city are concentrated. From the archaeological finds of Picena origin preserved inside the Palazzo Comunale to the pinacoteca dedicated to the local painter Carlo Maratti is a succession of cultural paths.
